SUSAN MULDOON

Being active has always been an important part of Susan’s life.  She grew up skiing and sailing, playing baseball and basketball and worked for 8 years as a competitive gymnastics coach.  She has run a half and a full marathon and participated in various single and multi-day running and adventure races.  Susan has loved competing in a variety of events, but is now shifting her focus to the value of regular activity and its positive effect on health and wellness.

Susan’s approach is to help her clients and class participants reach their goals through fun and progressive workouts that are safe and effective.

Sue has been teaching for ELM since 2005 and is currently leading our Morning Flow class at Pacific Playgrounds Resort.

Susan was first certified as a Fitness Leader in 1991 and later became certified through BCRPA as a Personal Trainer in 2003.  She is certified as a Medical Exercise Specialist (AAHFRP), a 200-hour Yoga Teacher (Yogaworks), Group Fitness and Spin Instructor, has Joint Replacement and Osteofit training and is certificated as a Holistic Nutritionist with emphasis on Nutrition for Sport and Exercise.  Most recently, she has taken the Aquatic Fitness Course through BCRPA. 

When Susan isn’t working you will most likely find her trail running, biking, reading, doing yoga or spending time with her family and friends at her tranquil off-grid cabin in the Gulf Islands.
